Rooftop

Rooftop was contracted by Axionlift, a manufacturing company, to augment their staff in the development of a human resources application. The main goal was to create a system to deliver digital payslips. The project began with the development of an employee database, generation of user profiles, and bulk upload of digital receipts. Rooftop was selected for this project due to their local presence and global reach. The company was satisfied with the proposed resources and the overall recruitment process.

In another project, Rooftop was hired by an IT services firm based in Montevideo, Uruguay, to provide talent for their team. The firm needed experts in cloud architecture and AWS. Rooftop recruited, trained, and incorporated a team of 8-10 people, including cloud administrators, DevOps engineers, and cloud architects, into the client's projects. The partnership, which began in January 2021, has seen an investment of about $300,000 and is still ongoing. The client appreciated Rooftop's approach to talent management, which aligned with their own values.

Lastly, Rooftop was engaged by Novel, a company that brings shoppable video to ecommerce websites, for ongoing full-stack software development services. The project involved the development of frontend React applications and backend Node.js microservices. Rooftop provided several candidates but only one full-stack software engineer was hired. The selection was based on cost, location of the staffing team and developers, and the quality of candidates. The recruitment process involved detailed discussions on job descriptions, email submissions of immediately available candidates with their rates and resumes, and up to three rounds of interviews.
