Research & Design completed an interactive 3D map development and design project for Charleston Southern University. The university's marketing department sought the company's expertise to create an interactive map of their campus. Using blueprints, satellite imagery, and photos, Research & Design created a three-dimensional view of the campus using SketchUp. They also added interactive points on the map, allowing users to learn more about each building. The project, which ran from March to June 2019, cost approximately $29,000. The university communicated with a designer and a business manager from Research & Design, who both ensured that the project stayed within the university's budget. The interactive map now allows users to learn about the campus and take guided tours, providing a comprehensive and engaging virtual experience.
