Red Cherry was contracted by Hutch Communications, a telecommunications company, to develop a custom app to track assets, employees, and integrate their accounting software. The app was designed to function offline and sync data when back in cell service range, a critical function for employees working in remote locations like oil rigs. The app, built for iOS and Android, allows the admin to oversee staff, monitor inventory, and complete accounting, work, and job orders. The interface shows the live or last known location of employees and their respective tasks. This real-time program eases asset assignment and tracking while tying all data into their billing and invoicing. With an investment of around $750,000, the engagement has been ongoing since 2015.

Red Cherry was approached by WellTraxx Limited for a complete rewrite of their website and custom software system. The company, which provides oil and gas administrative and software support for private landowners in rural municipalities, wanted to rebrand and revamp their website and software. The project involved transitioning from the initial .NET platform to a new platform. The company found Red Cherry through an online search and has been engaged with them for almost two years on a contract basis. The financial investment in this initiative amounts to nearly $150,000.
