Red Cherry successfully developed a custom app for Hutch Communications, a telecommunications company that was in need of a more comprehensive platform to track assets and employees. The app, designed for iOS and Android, allows employees to work offline in the field and sync data when back in cell service range. All the data is funneled into a web interface that the admin can access to oversee staff, monitor inventory, and complete accounting, work, and job orders. The CEO of Hutch Communications appreciated Red Cherry's User Centered Design approach and was satisfied with the full-scale solution that closely mirrored the prototype. The company invested around $750,000 in the project and the collaboration has been ongoing since 2015.
Red Cherry was also hired by WellTraxx Limited, an oil and gas administrative and software support company, to revamp their website and rewrite their custom software system. The company was looking for a more powerful partner who could deliver more diverse and dynamic products and respond more quickly to service issues. Red Cherry successfully executed a complete rewrite of the website and the software, changing from the initial .NET platform to a new platform. The project cost was close to $150,000 and the engagement has continued for almost two years with Red Cherry providing ongoing custom development and maintenance.
