Highlights from Recent Projects
Raygun was engaged by the Asian Law Caucus, a legal nonprofit organization, to redesign their website. The project involved a complete redevelopment of the website, including reworking the branding, colours, and language. The Raygun team developed a new brand guide for the organization, creating a fresh and modern look. The project was completed between April and December 2021, with the Asian Law Caucus investing approximately $30,000 in the project. The organization selected Raygun for their experience with social justice organizations and their ability to streamline and organize large resource libraries.
For the San Diego Design Week, an annual design event, Raygun was tasked with designing and implementing a website for the inaugural event in September 2020. The main objective was to create a highly accessible, bilingual website to attract an international audience. The website had to accommodate various types of content from over 110 community organizations and allow attendees to filter events by discipline, location, etc. Raygun worked closely with the event team from the earliest phases, advising on website features and functionality, and managing the launch of the website.
Space 4 Art, a nonprofit providing affordable work/live and studio space for San Diego artists, hired Raygun to update their outdated website and professionalize their fundraising efforts. The project also included refreshing the organization's brand. Raygun presented Space 4 Art with a refreshed brand, including a new color palette, font set, and signature line work. They designed the new site using a Squarespace template, with photos as the focal point. The project culminated with a one-hour training session for Space 4 Art staff, ensuring they could manage the new site effectively.
