Highlights from Recent Projects
Railwaymen completed a Wix Development project for an education consulting firm focused on collegiate athletics. The company's owner sought to evolve their simple informational webpage into an interactive platform for clients. Railwaymen was selected based on cost, past project experience, and overall interaction during the consultation phase. The project involved a detailed kickoff meeting, bi-monthly progress reviews, and the development of wireframes and mock design platforms. A team of three, including a Project Manager, Designer, and Developer, worked directly with the client, with additional support behind the scenes.
For a UK-based FinTech company, Railwaymen developed a product targeting the SME market. The product was designed to source data quickly and provide decisions for funding invoices. Railwaymen was chosen based on positive references from previous clients and experience with similar projects. The project began with a joint workshop, followed by the development of an MVP and an onboarding process. The team also created a decision engine and integrated seven useful features related to invoicing, data security, and customer verification. The project team consisted of seven individuals, including project management, front end and back end developers, UX/UI designers, and QA specialists.
Railwaymen also worked with a SaaS company, FreshPay, to develop custom software aimed at streamlining companies' payroll operations. The project's goal was to automate existing accounting processes. Railwaymen was selected based on their ability to understand and realize the client's vision during the Discovery Phase. The project involved a workshop to set expectations, a system of work development, specific task designation, and the release of the final product after obtaining HMRC certification. The team size varied throughout the project, consisting of a Product Manager, Front-end Developers, Back-end Developers, Quality Assurance Specialists, and UX/UI Designers.
