Rackner was contracted by GreenLight to provide AWS infrastructure consulting and backend development for their contract management platform. The project's objective was to create a first-generation software system. The team at Rackner began by setting up the AWS infrastructure, focusing on the development and production environments, security, and continuous integration/continuous delivery. They then developed the architecture of the backend for a new human resource management system. Initially, Rackner provided a part-time consultant, but as the project progressed, the consultant worked full-time.

A software development company hired Rackner to expedite the key features for one of their legacy products. The in-house developers were already engaged in other projects, so the company outsourced the tasks to Rackner, who had experience in AngularJS and Node.js. Rackner helped with product development, mainly building new features for the existing software, and occasionally resolving bugs and glitches. They were required to use AngularJS and Node.js as per the existing code. The company always had at least one developer from Rackner assisting them.

For a leading captioning service for the hearing impaired, Rackner was hired for multiple projects, with the largest being the registration of a mobile device for use in captioning calls. The goal of the project was to expand registration from a single phone endpoint to up to five different endpoints using the same phone number. Rackner began with some initial work on a website using LEAN and Angular, which then expanded to LAMP development, and ultimately .NET development. Their largest project involved user registration for a mobile device for use in captioning calls for hearing-impaired customers. The team composition varied, with one or two-person teams working as required to augment the staffing needs.
