Qudata

Qudata was hired by KTC.ua, a retailer of smart gadgets and consumer electronics, to develop an AI-driven search bar. The company was chosen based on its cultural fit, value for cost, referrals, and aligned company values. A team of 2-5 employees from Qudata was assigned to the project. The scope of work involved addressing search accuracy and user experience issues. This involved problem identification and analysis, solution design, data preprocessing, database normalization, creation of synonym links, autonomous operation and data security, implementation, testing, prototype development, documentation, and collaboration with KTC.ua's IT department. Key deliverables included a unique mechanism of synonymic links that enables searching in three languages. The algorithms also manage input errors, transcription, and the use of slang. Moreover, indirect links of the device and accessory type were automated, allowing users to search for the most relevant accessories. The feedback and results from KTC.ua were overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the effectiveness of Qudata's approach and solutions.
