December Labs was hired by CardieX Ltd, a medical device company, to scale their development team. The company was struggling to find internal resources with experience in connected devices, so they sought the help of December Labs. The latter was involved in building a number of CardieX's components, including a native iOS and Android app, a cloud-based app, a web portal, and an Android tablet app. December Labs provided experienced software engineers, QA and UI/UX services, and product management for the tablet app. The team was made up of mid- to senior-level resources, including Android and iOS developers, a cloud system architect, a QA specialist, a UI/UX developer, and a product manager. The partnership started in May 2021 and has just hit its one-year mark.

December Labs was also engaged by a health and wellness company to continue iterating on their iOS and Android mobile app. They took over from a previous development agency, audited the source code, and determined the necessary resources. They then helped in iterating the mobile app which can sync data from the company's neurostimulation device. The app serves as a remote control to gather and display data. The team, composed of two iOS engineers, two Android engineers, two QA specialists, and two product managers, work on two-week sprints to develop new features or enhance existing ones. The engagement started in January 2022 and is still ongoing.

A mobile app for sharing memories hired December Labs for an app redesign and optimization. The company noticed that users were primarily using the app to document memories of their children growing up, and since the app wasn't initially designed for this purpose, they hired December Labs to help with the redesign. The team helped in defining the journey map and golden path, brainstorming and designing wireframes, creating the new UI toolkit, and applying the UI via wireframes and prototypes. The vendor's team included a lead UI/UX designer and team.
