QuantUp

QuantUp was engaged by Schneider Electric, a Fortune 500 energy management and industrial automation company, to assist with custom software development. The project entailed creating a recommendations engine for their sales and marketing function. The engine was designed to predict the next best product a customer might be interested in. Given the company's focus on engineered solutions rather than products, QuantUp had to customize the recommender engine’s algorithm to fit their unique business model. The project, which ran from late 2018 to mid-2019, was executed by three team members from QuantUp, including the CTO & Founder, Artur. The client expressed satisfaction with the project outcome, noting that QuantUp offered great value for their cost.

QuantUp was hired by Wattstor, an energy solutions company, to create prediction models and analyze historical data. The vendor's team, comprising four data scientists and AI/ML experts, was selected based on their experience in the energy sector and positive references. They analyzed historical data and built and tested prediction models for energy consumption and generation, considering both classical and machine learning models. The client did not provide specific feedback on the project outcome.

The third project involved a company operating in the field of automation and new technologies for elevators. QuantUp was hired to develop algorithms to support the client's vision of providing non-contact, automatic devices. The project involved building a database and developing advanced prediction algorithms. QuantUp's team, which included high-class data scientists, a PhD Engineering project coordinator, and IT specialists, also advised on the best solutions during the development phase. The software test took place during the implementation in the device, with QuantUp making necessary adjustments for a smooth system start-up. The client praised QuantUp for their excellent understanding of their needs and attention to detail.
