Quanam was hired by ANCAP, the National Oil Company in Uruguay, to set up a comprehensive planning solution that would allow the company to forecast financial outcomes and build "what if" scenarios based on various external variables. The project was built on IBM TM1 and was executed in sprints, with the model growing and incorporating new variables and models with each sprint. The project also included training for ANCAP staff to use, understand, and maintain the tool, as well as the automation of all possible data sources.
