Q-Insights partnered with the XPRIZE Foundation, a global leader in large-scale incentivized prize competitions, for an adult literacy project. The challenge was to recruit 12,000 adult learners from Los Angeles, Dallas, and Philadelphia within four months. Q-Insights was responsible for the operational work of the program, including canvassing and street recruitment. They set up mobile testing sites to recruit and screen eligible participants, helped them download a learning app and collected their demographic and contact information. They were also tasked with tracking these individuals throughout the year and getting them back for post-testing. The company managed to pull off this complex process and was responsible for nearly 40% of the recruits for the entire study. They were particularly successful in recruiting native English speakers, a group that proved more challenging to attract than Spanish speakers. The project, which ran from January 2017 to December 2018, was deemed remarkable and would not have been possible without Q-Insights' contribution.
