Purpose Built Software was engaged by RotatingRoom, a student-to-student subletting platform primarily for medical students, to rebuild their website. The initial website was dated and lacked several features in comparison to competitors like Airbnb. Purpose Built Software was tasked with a complete overhaul of the site, improving its infrastructure, aesthetics, and user experience while adding new features. The project was completed in 8 weeks, with the team managing all environments, staging servers, and QA. The client praised the project management and the proactive approach of the team, especially the owner, Scott Yewell.

The project aimed to propel the business to the next level by providing pharmaceutical cost containment evaluation, analytics, and recommendations. The team built a system capable of manipulating different CSV files, generating recommendations, and verifying pricing with multiple specific formulas. Purpose Built Software was hired by an insurance broker to develop a client management system to streamline automation, data record keeping, and client management in the company’s cloud storage.
