Highlights from Recent Projects
Punchcard Systems was hired by connectFirst Credit Union, one of Canada's largest credit unions, to improve and launch their website. The company's goal was to increase appointments, and they faced the challenge of having to work with a specific template due to a complex relationship with a previous technology partner. Punchcard Systems developed new templates for the website from scratch, overcoming the challenge of developing the brand. The platform they created allowed users to browse products, log in, and access online banking. They also built a microsite on WordPress and helped with maintenance. The project, which began in December 2020, was completed in May 2021 with a budget of approximately $62,000 USD.
In another project, Punchcard Systems was contracted by a healthcare provider to design, build, and launch the M365 platform for their entire organization. The project aimed at enhancing communication, storing information, building capacity for collaboration, and transitioning from a server to cloud-based technology. The first three months were dedicated to gathering information to ensure the platform was intuitive and catered to the organization's specific needs. Punchcard Systems' team included a project manager, designers, engineers, and IT consultants.
A software company also engaged Punchcard Systems to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for their software. The software was designed to link project experience with personnel resumes, making it easier to manage company and personnel experience. Punchcard Systems was selected for their approach to development and positive reviews from previous clients. The project involved an initial discovery sprint to identify foundational requirements, followed by two development sprints to create a working MVP of the software. The Punchcard team consisted of six people, including a project manager, software development lead, two software developers, a UX lead, and a UX designer.
