PulsarFour was hired by Thomas Bates, a branded apparel accessory company, to overhaul their existing website. The company had evolved over the years from a wholesale support site to a retail site, and they wanted to make the leap to a fully retail format. PulsarFour collaborated with Thomas Bates to understand the breadth of changes needed, whether to build an entirely new site or graft pieces onto the existing one. PulsarFour then provided a comprehensive list of necessary changes, and these were incorporated into the contract to build the new site. The project officially started in January and the new website went live in June.

The selection of PulsarFour was influenced by their offer of access to their development staff, something not provided by Thomas Bates' previous provider. The proposal from PulsarFour was far larger in terms of a complete remake, but Thomas Bates was willing to invest in a partner they felt they could work with closely. The partnership with PulsarFour continues, with ongoing site support, refinements, and the expansion of search options. This includes the introduction of a "Configurator" function, allowing customers to construct a product, which has been well-received. Thomas Bates is in daily contact with PulsarFour for continued improvements.
