Highlights from Recent Projects
The Universal Group, Canada's largest traffic management organization tasked Puggers Video Production with creating a series of training videos to be used for consistent, borderless safety orientation. There was a necessity to deliver simple, yet engaging videos that ensured the safety norms were comprehensible, relatable, and practically reinforced. The target was not only to drive safe practices among the crew but also to change on-ground safety requirements into habitual practices and help the public better respond to automated flagger assistance devices (AFADs).
Puggers Video Production was chosen based on their cultural fit, their pricing appropriateness, their proximity, and on the recommendation. The team comprising 2-5 members came aboard to create multiple, short safety videos that were based on the Part 18 safety norms such as safe positioning, risk assessments, and communication. They filmed at active worksites to create a series of 10 micro-learning videos, these were to be used for ongoing training, safety meetings, and regular refresher sessions.
The resultant output from Puggers Video Production turned out to be effective and pragmatic. The project facilitated safety meetings and regular training sessions by implementing a series of 10 micro-learning videos that covered vital particulars of Part 18 safety norms. In addition, two public-facing videos illustrating AFADs and their intended responses were created, these were also used as tools for public education through social media. The universal applicability of the training modules across the company and their potential for future adaptations make Puggers Video Production's contribution momentous.
