The American Community School of Abu Dhabi collaborated with Provis Technologies to develop a custom software solution in response to the challenges brought by COVID-19. The software, named Carspotter, was designed to manage the school's car pickups while maintaining social distancing. The data was managed in an AWS-hosted database. The team used Vue.js and Laravel to develop the frontend and backend solutions. The project began in July 2020 and was launched in September 2020, with continued improvements being made. The project cost ranged between $25,000 and $50,000. The client chose Provis Technologies due to their clear understanding of the development work needed.
