Highlights from Recent Projects
For a global medical robotics company, proml successfully developed and implemented AI and software solutions. The project involved enhancing the robot's features, including the ability to track and recognize tools. The proml team provided comprehensive documentation, code, and AI training data, enabling the robot to recognize tools and coordinate according to commands. This project, which spanned from October to December 2020, was completed by a team of 3–4 people from proml, including software developers and a project manager. The client spent between $20,000–$30,000 on this project and expressed satisfaction with the results.
In a consulting and audit project for a 3D scanner manufacturer, proml was hired to evaluate the client's software developers team, business processes, and tools. The client was concerned about the level of technical debt they had accumulated. The proml team conducted a detailed review of the client's code base and business processes, provided regular online meetings, and presented a detailed report of problems and suggested solutions. The project resulted in several well-structured documents which were highly beneficial to the client. This project was completed by a project manager and a tech lead from proml.
Proml was contracted by Path-Keeper Surgical Ltd., a medical device developer, to develop a machine learning system for segmenting spine vertebrae from CT. This included enhancing support for deformity cases. The project involved developing a full machine learning system to separate CT of the spine into vertebrae, including localization, segmentation, and bone extraction. The system was also designed to handle complex deformity and anatomy cases. This project was executed by a team of 2-5 employees from proml, demonstrating their understanding of the problem and ability to deliver a comprehensive solution.
