Profinit

Profinit was hired by Ceska sporitelna, the largest bank in Czech Republic, for consulting and development services on Hadoop technologies. The project aimed at developing an anti-fraud system for payment transactions operating in real time. Profinit's team of five experts, including an architect and big data expert, prepared data integration for the source of payment transactions, collected all relevant data in a Hadoop-based data mart, and built an analytical model to identify fraud or suspicious transactions. These models were then integrated into an online transaction monitoring front-end application. The client expressed satisfaction with Profinit's demonstrated expertise in Hadoop technologies and their positive experience from previous projects.

In a project with the largest Czech bank, Profinit developed a centralized log management system to comply with banking regulations. The project required the creation of a unified repository for various audit logs, ensuring the storage of the original message, message hash, immutability, and anti-readability. The selection of Profinit as a vendor was based on a six-month tender process with the deciding factor being the price. The project involved a detailed analysis, a proof of concept in a WMWare test environment, integration with 90 source systems, and migration of older logs from the original RDBMS solution. Berenberg, a leading private bank in Europe, hired Profinit for module app design, development, and migration. The project aimed at leveraging modern technologies to improve the bank's services and operations. Profinit's team of 2-5 employees developed new modules for client classification and a business requirement-specific dashboard. The application was migrated from on-premise to Azure DevOps, enhancing the infrastructure's flexibility and efficiency.
