Praecipio Consulting was engaged by a private water utility company based in the San Francisco Bay Area to help with their IT helpdesk migration and to provide ongoing support. The company had been using an incumbent helpdesk with limited functionality, primarily for IT ticketing, and decided to implement JIRA service management, which is part of the Atlassian suite that the company was already using for tracking and knowledge management. Praecipio assisted with the migration and set up the initial service desk in their own private environment, and have since been providing ongoing support and maintenance services. They are also broadening their support into other departments. The project began in March 2020 and is ongoing, with around $300,000 invested to date.
