Highlights from Recent Projects
Practia worked with DUCSA, the largest fuel distribution company in Uruguay, on a Sharepoint development project. The company had never worked on a Sharepoint project before, so Practia provided comprehensive training for their developers. They then redesigned and reengineered DUCSA's extranet, migrating it to Sharepoint and adding new services such as a client loyalty program. The project, which started in April 2015, lasted a year and a half and cost around $50,000 per year. DUCSA was so satisfied with Practia's work that they plan to continue working with them in the future.
Practia was hired by Plan Ceibal, a non-profit organization focused on education and technology, to work on their Sharepoint portal. The organization had been struggling with maintaining the portal for new functionalities, so they decided to switch from their previous provider to Practia. The team from Practia, which consisted of a project leader, a web designer, and a developer, was able to resolve issues that had previously been deemed unsolvable. The ongoing collaboration, which started in early 2015, costs between $15,000 and $20,000 per year.
ZonaTecno, a tech retail company in Uruguay, enlisted Practia's help to renovate and update their online platform. The goal was to improve user experience and make their e-commerce website stand out. Practia first conducted a website analysis and then submitted design and functionality proposals. They worked closely with ZonaTecno to implement these proposals and make constant updates to the website. The collaboration, which started in 2014, has cost a little over $100,000 so far. ZonaTecno continues to work with Practia to incorporate new trends and features.
