Potado

Potado was hired by a bar and restaurant promotions company to develop a cross-platform mobile app to promote local nightlife venues. The company owner, who was not technically proficient, needed a team to handle the development of an app for Android, iPhone, and web, as well as a database and an admin dashboard. Potado was chosen because of their useful advice, impressive past work, fair pricing, and flexible contracts. They developed the mobile app and a simple website first, then the business admin dashboard. The web platforms were built using Javascript and React, while the mobile apps were developed with React Native. The project was completed within the desired three-month timeline, ready for launch once covid lockdowns were lifted.

Potado worked on a custom software development project for an education recruitment company. The company wanted to create a job board that would allow schools to find foreign teachers easily and affordably. Potado was chosen because of their quick development time and ability to handle custom work. They designed and developed the project, starting with rough sketches, then designing the interface in Figma, and finally developing the project using React and Next for server-side rendering. The project included features like email and Google authentication, job post creation and viewing, a content management system for blog posts, and TEFL course profiles with reviews. A scraper was also developed using NodeJS and Puppeteer to pull content from other sources.

Potado was hired by a teacher recruiting company to develop an operations management software. The goal was to digitise the operations of all the schools managed by the company, starting with a Japanese international school in Thailand. Potado was chosen because of their proximity, pricing, value for cost, and referral. The company wanted a software that was easy to use by people with low technical skills. The project aimed to digitise the everyday administration tasks that were previously conducted manually, making the process more efficient and less time-consuming.
