Highlights from Recent Projects
Posse was hired by a social media marketing agency to create a dedicated app for a musical project. The app was designed to reflect the show's overall brand aesthetic and included features such as a lottery registration system that works across multiple locations and original content hosting. The app was developed from scratch using Flutter, allowing for simultaneous development for iOS and Android. The collaboration began in May 2017 and is ongoing, with the development of new features. The client appreciated Posse's similarity to their own small, scrappy team and their ability to meet in person for discussions.
In another project, National Systems Corporation enlisted Posse's help to create a new system for their operating company, QuikOrder. The system was designed to be highly synergistic with their current products and at an attractive price point for customers. Posse was given the task of testing a new way of architecting data and networking between nodes, resulting in a system that could work in offline mode with peer-to-peer architecture. The project, which started in July 2016, is ongoing and has cost over $200,000.
Posse also worked with a local craft brewery to develop a mobile app that allows consumers to find and purchase their beer. The app was designed to fit both development trends and the brewery's marketing and branding strategy. Posse built the app for both iOS and Android platforms as native applications, developing the frontend, backend, and UI/UX, and doing all the server-related work. The app, which was one of the first to allow a brewery to sell beer for pickup at their locations, collects user information to better serve customers in the future. The collaboration began in 2013 and is still ongoing.
