Highlights from Recent Projects
Portland Design Co was hired by Monte's Fine Foods, a specialty food market and bakery, to create a website from scratch. The company's owner, LK, and her assistant, Abby, met with the client to discuss the look and features of the site and created drafts for approval. The project was successful, with the client expressing satisfaction with the new website. This engagement was a result of a recommendation from another design firm in town, highlighting Portland Design Co's positive reputation within the industry.
In a distinct project, Eros Oyster, a co-founded oyster farm, contracted Portland Design Co to establish their brand identity, create a logo, and develop a website. The team at Portland Design Co created a portfolio of logo designs, conducted a survey to select the best logo, and designed a delivery van wrap featuring a detailed sketch of an oyster. The client was highly pleased with the outcomes and continues to work with Portland Design Co on other projects. The engagement, which began in July 2017, was initiated due to the impressive quality of work previously done by Portland Design Co.
Portland Design Co was also engaged by a solar development company to design a professional website and logo, and assist with branding. The team created the company's logo, color scheme, fonts, and communication templates, and designed a Squarespace website featuring the company's services and projects. The client was highly satisfied with the final deliverables, which were achieved through a multi-step review process. This engagement, which lasted from December 2020 to March 2021, was a result of a successful RFP process where Portland Design Co stood out amongst other vendors.
