Poliance Software Development was hired by an IT solutions firm to develop mobile applications for iOS and Android. These applications were designed to digitize the experience of using fitness clubs for the firm's end client. The apps enabled remote access to training plans and allowed for custom booking of gym equipment and facilities, keeping in line with safety measures necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Poliance was selected for the project due to their ability to deliver the required technologies at a fixed price. The project involved design and business analysis workshops, preparation of app architecture and graphical designs, and coding. The entire project took nearly four months to complete with a team composed of a PM/Scrum Master, a designer, a tech lead, and mobile developers from Poliance. Quality testing was also conducted throughout the course of the project.
