PMG was engaged by The Compounder, a pharmacy in Aurora, Illinois, to revamp their website and make it more user-friendly. The pharmacy, which specializes in custom-made pharmaceutical products, needed a site that could handle a wealth of information while also being easy to navigate. PMG built a WordPress site that was simple and allowed the pharmacy to keep a lot of information. The team also had to fix and place over 3,000 pages on a database, removed the sitemaps to make the website work faster, and integrated Shopify. Furthermore, a section was created for doctors to upload their prescriptions electronically, a requirement set to take effect in January 2022. PMG continues to provide ongoing maintenance as well as design and development work. The project, which began in January 2013, cost the pharmacy $15,000 for the web development work and $1,000 annually for site updates.
