Highlights from Recent Projects
Plank was contracted by the Centaur Theatre Company to help with a rapid rebranding project and the creation of a new website. The team at Plank collaborated closely with the theatre's artistic director and other staff to understand their needs and vision for the new site. The website was designed to be user-friendly, particularly for the theatre's older audience, and included features such as calls to action, ticket purchasing options, and information about the company. Plank also integrated the company's ticketing system into the website. The collaboration began in April 2019 and continues to date with Plank providing ongoing maintenance and updates.
POP Montreal, a music festival company, hired Plank to address issues with their existing website. Plank redeveloped the website through WordPress, creating new features including a built-in playlist on the home page and integrating Spotify. The team at Plank also optimized various aspects of the website and ensured it stayed updated with the latest plug-ins. This project, which ran from February to October 2021, improved the website's navigation and overall user experience, making it easier for visitors to find information about the festival's various events and activities.
Nazareth Community, a residential community and support facility, worked with Plank to revamp their website. The existing site was difficult to navigate and update, so Plank rebuilt it from scratch on WordPress, making it more user-friendly and engaging. They also provided advice on social media and advertising to help increase donations and volunteers. This project, which was part of Plank's annual "Gives Back" initiative, began in November 2019 and officially ended in February 2020. However, Plank continues to provide support and answer any questions or concerns the Nazareth Community team may have.
