Planes Studio partnered with Minute Media, a digital-first media company, to provide various development services for their website, widgets, and media units. The goal was to impress users and partners with an excellent user experience, while meeting aggressive timelines and rigid budgets. Planes Studio was selected for their collaborative approach and ability to work in fast-paced environments with ever-changing client needs. Three members of the Planes team worked alongside Minute Media's team, providing leadership and guidance around React. They were praised for their responsiveness, crucial for resolving issues over weekends due to the sports focus of many of the sites.

In a project with a New Zealand-based P2P marketplace startup, Planes Studio was hired to create their platform. The team built a customer-facing platform, an app in React Native available on Google Play and App Store, and a responsive desktop website. They also created a marketplace where customers post tasks to be completed and taskers provide offers to complete those tasks. Planes Studio was chosen for their ability to establish trust, provide support, and bring across knowledge from a similar platform they had previously developed for hospitality workers. The project started in February 2018 and is ongoing, with the client expressing satisfaction with the support provided by Planes Studio.

Planes Studio was hired by The Circle Line, an online platform providing self-development and mental health services, to develop their web application. The team designed and developed the application from scratch, incorporating APIs like Stripe and Twilio. The platform has two different login types for clients and therapists or coaches, and allows users to create profiles, upload documents, and access calendar, payments, and various communication features. The engagement, which ran from February to May 2019, involved three people from Planes Studio including a developer, project manager, and the company's founder. The Circle Line chose Planes Studio over three other recommended companies, deeming them the best fit for their needs.
