Pixel and Texel was hired by rentmywardrobe.com to rewrite the front end of their app in React Native. The existing code had many gaps, and Pixel and Texel's first task was to update it. The company worked directly with two of their developers, but the entire team supported the project. The partnership began in August 2018, and the client chose Pixel and Texel because of their long-standing team experience and their local presence.
A virtual reality gaming and experience company contracted Pixel and Texel for outsourced VR development assistance. The company particularly needed help with app development. Pixel and Texel were tasked to work with Modo VR, Android, Java, C++, Photoshop, and some emerging technologies. The client had previously worked with the Pixel and Texel co-founders and trusted their competence. The first engagement lasted from February to April 2017.
