PieStack successfully completed a project for a fantasy sports company, Sportsball, co-founded by the client. The client sought PieStack's services for testing their website. In another project, PieStack was hired by L3AD, a digital manufacturing platform operating as a virtual 3D printing factory. The client's objectives included building a scalable manufacturing ecosystem, implementing AI-driven quoting and automation, reducing manual operational work, and creating a SaaS-ready platform capable of learning from real production data and scaling globally. PieStack was recommended to the client and chosen for their high ratings and commitment. The team of 2-5 employees from PieStack designed and developed a full digital manufacturing ecosystem. Key deliverables included a centralized production dashboard, a secure and encrypted 3D file library, AI-based instant quoting, order and production tracking, inventory and logistics foundations, an admin control panel, DevOps setup, and payment integration. The platform was designed with a multi-phase roadmap to support SaaS workflows, automation, and global factory synchronization.
