Phoenix Design Works was hired by the University of the Virgin Islands to create a brand for their athletic department. The challenge was to develop a brand identity and mascot for the department, which had never had either before. Phoenix Design Works' scope of work involved creating logos for the athletic department as well as some of the university's schools of education. Additionally, they handled all the trademarking for the new logos and developed a complete style guide with a color scheme. The project, which cost around $25,000, was accomplished by a team of two people, including the owner, over a period of six months from December 2020 to June 2021.
