Pernix Solutions was engaged by a business school to develop a business simulation tool, specifically for simulating organizational change. The school sought to offer the latest learning technologies, and simulations were chosen for their ability to provide a controlled environment for real-life scenarios. Pernix was responsible for all technical aspects of the project, and the team comprised of 3-4 individuals. The collaboration started three years ago and continues to this day, as the tool is constantly evolving.
In another project, a coupon redemption company hired Pernix Solutions to develop a new programming system to allow their clients to access data over the web. Pernix built the system, working with an older programming language to make it interact with the company's newer system. The team size varied based on the project stage, with the company primarily working with a project lead from Pernix. The partnership, which began in 2018, is ongoing, with the initial project completed and a new one underway.
Pernix Solutions was also hired by a coupon redemption services company to rebuild their coupon processing system software and resolve errors in the existing older software. The company found Pernix through a referral and chose them for their competitive pricing and value for cost. The scope of work involved rebuilding a 15-20 year old JAVA software data processing system running off of AWS servers to improve system expandability.
