Perficient, under the BrainJocks division, was approached by a global information management company, Recall, to salvage a website project that had been poorly executed by a previous vendor. The client's website was inconsistent and inaccessible, hindering their global positioning and growth. Perficient conducted an audit and had to dismantle almost 80% of the already built website. They then rebuilt the site, incorporating Sitecore as the preferred content management system. The project, costing over $1 million, was completed in early 2011.
In another project, Perficient worked with a healthcare consultancy to create a new portal for communication and collaboration with consulting clients. Their role involved Sitecore modelling, UX/UI design, custom development, deployment, testing, requirements, and supply testing. They acted as the development arm of the initiative under the guidance of a lead architect. The project, which was completed in May 2013, selected Sitecore as the preferred content management system due to its flexibility, relative upkeep cost, and performance capabilities.
