For the HomeWorks division of Precept Marketing, Percept Infotech was brought on to expand and improve the capabilities of their 14-15 year old website. The team built a website that the HomeWorks consultants use, which includes a public-facing portion and a member area similar to a CRM. They modified the e-commerce system, created several features using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL, and integrated a forum, search functionalities, and a tagging system. The partnership, which started 8-10 years ago, has resulted in 5-6 big projects a year to constantly improve backend processes.
