People Business provided HR consulting for Working Mind, a UK-based mental health support charity. The project involved merging two organizations, one of which was facing severe financial problems. People Business explored options for the relationship between the two charities, executed changes decided by the trustees, and ran a redundancy program for the struggling charity. They worked under intense time pressures to ensure the process was implemented smoothly and ethically. They also provided support for redundant employees, helping them find new roles and re-employing some within the Working Mind organization. The project, which cost around $15,000, began in September 2019 and concluded in December of the same year.

In another project, People Business provided HR staff augmentation for a lending company. They recommended and implemented an HR system, acted as HR staff, and assisted with employee reference checks, hiring, firing, and coaching. The primary contact for the project was Natalie, an HR Consultant from People Business. The project began in January 2015 and is ongoing, costing the company roughly £30,000 per year (approximately $21,000 USD).

People Business also worked with Vaultex, a UK-based cash management firm, on leadership development and personal coaching. They conducted a 360-degree feedback exercise with board members and other frequent contacts. The process was collaborative and open, with feedback attributed and discussions facilitated by the People Business team. The project, which cost between $10,000 and $50,000, began in May 2019 and is ongoing, with multiple projects completed since the start of the engagement.
