Pedrera

Pedrera was hired by a nonprofit organization to take over their web development contract and transition their website from HTML to a CMS system. The client praised Pedrera's attention to detail, problem-solving skills and efficiency. Pedrera's role included project management, setting up meetings, and scoping the project with the client's internal team. They used LastPass for password management, BaseCamp for project management, Google Domains, RackSpace and GreenGeeks for hosting, and ExpressionEngine for their CMS. The client worked directly with Tim, the owner of Pedrera, as well as Matt, a developer, and John, a UX/UI designer.

FMI, a management consulting firm, hired Pedrera to redesign their outdated website. Pedrera was selected for their modern, functional work and diverse skills. The project, which took seven months to complete, involved building a new site that would highlight FMI's two separate business units. Pedrera helped the client understand best practices, created site mock-ups, and made smart technology recommendations. The new site was built with ExpressionEngine, a new domain name was chosen, servers were migrated, and security was improved based on Pedrera's recommendations. The client appreciated Pedrera's transparency, prompt customer service, and the guidance they provided throughout the process.

Wyffels Hybrids, a seed corn company, partnered with Pedrera for a complete website redesign on their ExpressionEngine platform. Pedrera reconfigured the structure and layout of the website, conducted a refresh of the backend, and executed a complete frontend overhaul. The client found Pedrera through internet research and chose them for their expertise in ExpressionEngine. The website redesign, which cost between $50,000-$60,000, started in March 2019 and was completed in July 2020. The client was satisfied with Pedrera's work and decided to engage them for the frontend redesign after their successful work on the backend project.
