Pedrera

Pedrera was hired by a nonprofit organization to transition their HTML website to a CMS system for easier management. The company was chosen due to their attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and quick work pace. Pedrera was responsible for web maintenance and managing larger web development projects, using tools like LastPass, BaseCamp, Google Domains, RackSpace, GreenGeeks, and ExpressionEngine. The team, consisting of the owner Tim, a developer named Matt, and a UX/UI designer named John, was praised for their consistent communication and efficient workflow.

For Wyffels Hybrids, a seed corn company, Pedrera was entrusted with a complete website redesign. The company had not updated their website in over 8 years and Pedrera was chosen for their expertise in ExpressionEngine. The project, which cost around $50,000-$60,000, involved a large-scale redesign of the platform, including a complete overhaul of the front and backend. The new website went live in July 2020, a little over a year after the project commenced in March 2019.

Pedrera was engaged by FMI, a consulting and investment banking firm, to redesign their outdated and difficult-to-use website. The project, which took nearly seven months, included several searchable databases, specific content displays, enhanced search functionality, and integration with HubSpot. Pedrera also improved the site's security and usability, leading to a monthly maintenance contract.
