PB Web Development was hired by an editorial events team from the country's largest media company to create and manage multiple event websites. The goal was to showcase the events, provide detailed information and facilitate the registration process. The vendor was recommended to them and a team of two from PB Web Development was assigned to this project. They created a template for the events websites which could be customized for each event. They successfully created and managed three websites and also helped in maintaining two other complex websites.
The second project was for Fairfax Events, a company that organizes over 50 events reaching over 13.2 million Australians annually. They hired PB Web Development to rebuild the website for their Good Food Month events. The vendor was chosen through a Request for Proposal process (RFP). In this project, PB Web Development created a robust, mobile-first, future-facing website. They overhauled the UI/UX and developed the site in accordance with digital marketing best practices. The team increased the website's data tracking and analytics capabilities and implemented an improved search and filtering system using AJAX/JavaScript. The team, which consisted of the co-director and two frontend developers, remained consistent across the various other projects.
