Passio

Passio, a digital solutions company, partnered with the Co-operative College to develop an online feedback prototype. The goal was to make the feedback model as inclusive and accessible as possible for neurodiverse UK project beneficiaries struggling to engage in online project work due to the pandemic. Passio was chosen for their expertise in working with young people with autism, learning difficulties, and disabilities, and their shared values with the College. Over a ten-week project, Passio transformed the feedback tool from its design phase to a working prototype compatible with multiple online platforms. The client appreciated Passio's collaborative approach, openness to ideas and suggestions, and clear communication of roadmaps and sprints.

In another project, Passio collaborated with ARC Scotland's Scottish Transitions Forum to co-design a web-based application that would support young people with additional needs during transitions from school to adult life. Passio was chosen for their focus on accessibility, enthusiasm, and moral approach to work. The ongoing project involves mapping user journeys, visualizing information flow, and simplifying the transitions process. Passio's work includes coding for the web-based application, design input, and conducting consultations with different user groups including parents, carers, young people with additional needs, data law experts, and Scottish government colleagues.

Passio was also hired by a research team at UCL to develop a web-app that supports users to focus on their work and take healthy breaks. The app also collects data usage statistics to better understand people's behavior. Passio was recommended by a trusted colleague and their commitment to developing accessible technology was a key factor in the hiring decision. The team at Passio guided the research team through the process of defining key deliverables and understanding their work processes, and provided access to a staging environment for testing the prototype before release.
