Ovyl

Ovyl was hired by a marketing firm to develop a product prototype for the firm's client. The project aimed to create a unique promotional item, the "Can Coaster", for outdoor events. Ovyl's team, led by Dave, worked closely with the marketing firm, creating 3D renderings and making several revisions to perfect the design. The team's location in Nashville was instrumental in facilitating face-to-face meetings and revisions. The final product was a polished prototype presented to the client, who was extremely pleased with the outcome. In another project, Ovyl partnered with Beauty by Me, a custom cosmetics technology company, to optimize some of their prototypes to a production-quality system. The Ovyl team was tasked with improving the aesthetics of the device, internal systems, and making firmware-related changes. The project resulted in a "showcase" device for immediate customer feedback. Ovyl's extensive expertise in product design and engineering was a deciding factor for Beauty by Me in choosing them as a vendor. The project involved CAD modeling, circuit board considerations, part selection, and vendor sourcing.
