Ovyl

Ovyl was hired by a marketing firm to develop a product prototype for their client, a unique marketing tool dubbed the "Can Coaster". The product was designed to allow outdoor venues to market with freebies and could be propped upright on the ground without being knocked over. Ovyl's team, led by Dave, created 3D renderings of the concept, incorporating multiple revisions to perfect the design. The final prototype was well-received by the client. The marketing firm appreciated Ovyl's local presence in Nashville and their assistance in selecting and touring a thermoforming facility to assess mass production costs. The firm intends to work with Ovyl again in the future.

For the custom cosmetics business, Beauty by Me, Ovyl was brought on board to expedite and optimize several prototypes to a production-quality system. The project involved improving the aesthetics of the device, the internal systems, and some firmware-related changes. Ovyl's team of experts led different areas of the project, including ID, ME, and others. The project resulted in the development of a "showcase" device for immediate customer feedback. Beauty by Me was impressed with Ovyl's standing as a leading product design firm in the South and their comprehensive offerings.
