Overture Consulting, LLC successfully implemented SharePoint 2016 for an independent energy company. The company was seeking a more efficient alternative to a file server and Overture provided the solution. The project involved the complete development of the SharePoint setup, with ongoing migration efforts. The team, led by Peter and Diane, interacted with various teams within the client's organization to facilitate file migration. The collaboration began in November 2016 and is ongoing.
In another project, Overture Consulting provided SharePoint consulting services for Finastra, a financial services software firm. Finastra required assistance with their SharePoint environment due to a lack of in-house expertise. Overture created a compartmentalized environment in SharePoint for 36 different companies, ensuring data security for each customer. They constructed a completely new environment, including database servers, test/dev, and production environments. They also assisted in migrating all clients into the new setup and provided maintenance rules and customization work. The collaboration began around June or July 2015 and lasted for about two years, with the client retaining Overture's services for any arising issues.
Overture Consulting also provided phone cabling services for a medical spa in Dallas. The spa was having issues with CenturyLink and Overture stepped in to resolve them. They installed phone jacks in the spa's office and ensured their proper functioning after the switch to CenturyLink. The project, which took place in January 2020, was led by Peter, the President of Overture Consulting, and was completed successfully for under $1,000.
