OVANTIS was contracted by Luz Saúde, a major healthcare provider in Portugal, to develop custom software solutions to enhance their electronic medical records (EMR) system. The primary goal was to improve interoperability and integrate developed solutions with EMR. OVANTIS focused on three solutions, including developing e-prescriptions software to integrate prescriptions across units and government services, a bed management system to manage the capacity of in-patient, emergency, and ICU departments, and a solution focusing on interoperability. Luz Saúde has been working with six teammates from OVANTIS, including its Co-Founder, Carlos, who has been their partner for over 10 years. The investment for this project was around €150,000 (approximately $160,000 USD).
