Other Land

Other Land was contracted by Empat, a B2B web-based platform that aids companies in managing compliance and internal operations more efficiently. The primary aim of the project was to enhance the core product's user experience, making it easier for customers to navigate and reducing cognitive load. Other Land, chosen for their cost-effective services, cultural compatibility, and positive referrals, was tasked with redesigning the setup and workspace configuration flows to facilitate smoother onboarding for new customers. They also aimed to modernize the platform's user interface and improve its design system for visual consistency and future scalability.

The team from Other Land began by conducting a UX audit and flow mapping. This enabled them to redesign Empat's core configuration flows, including workspace setup, team member invitations, and role assignment. They also worked on clarifying navigation and terminology throughout the platform to create a more intuitive user experience. Instead of building a new design system from scratch, Other Land improved the visual style within Empat's current system. They updated key components and polished the user interface for a more modern and consistent feel. The project was executed by a team of 2-5 members from Other Land. The results and feedback on the project are yet to be provided.
