Orbit29

Orbit29 was contracted by a Mental Health Foundation to provide product management support for their digital health portfolio. The project involved three phases, beginning with a project manager to support a mental health program. The second phase focused on a testicular cancer product, which required the design of a survivorship support website. Orbit29 also reimagined and redesigned the branding for the product, accelerating its evolution. The foundation chose Orbit29 due to their exceptional experience, high-quality work, and personable approach, investing upwards of $200,000 AUD (approximately $134,000 USD) in the ongoing collaboration which started in June 2020.

Orbit29 was hired by a wellness company to update the UI designs and fix bugs for their gratitude practice app, Gratitube. The CEO of the company chose Orbit29 because they were impressed with their vision to work with organizations in the social good/wellbeing space. The project began with a series of meetings to define the scope, objectives, and timelines. Orbit29 then presented the first round of UI designs, made rapid iterations based on feedback, and ran the app through beta testing before launching. The project manager was Jay, one of the founders, who was supported by another founder, Suf, and a full stack developer, James.

Reframe, a cancer support organization, hired Orbit29 for the development and launch of an MVP. The goal was to improve cancer support services for small and medium-sized businesses, making it easier for them to find and access cancer support for their people and to ensure self-service via their website. Orbit29 was chosen over other vendors due to their great culture fit and aligned company values. The team size was between 2-5 employees and the engagement was initiated based on a referral.
