Orange Bees

Orange Bees was hired by the Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors to develop a robust database system. The aim was to migrate to an open-source system that would enable third-party partners to access membership data more easily. The new system needed to facilitate better plugins and create a more efficient platform for the member services and events department to use for programming events throughout the winter season. The process began with a thorough evaluation of the organization's needs, considering the requirements of its 32,000 members and nine chapters. While the system is web-based, the client has expressed a desire to develop a mobile app in the future. The engagement with Orange Bees began in 2019 and is ongoing. The client's marketing director identified Orange Bees as a competent partner to address their challenges, and they were chosen from among three to four potential companies. The client appreciated that Orange Bees was one of the only companies that effectively facilitated third-party integration with their CRM. The lead designer from Orange Bees has been the primary contact for the client's team.
