Opentech

Opentech was hired by Odys Global, a premium aged domains marketplace, to rebuild their entire marketplace and backend/admin area. The goal was to create a more robust and scalable solution to take the MVP to the next level. Opentech was selected for their ability to seamlessly integrate with Odys Global's operations and effectively replace the tech/IT department. The project involved building a custom marketplace for digital products, improving development time for new features and overall performance. The team from Opentech, which included a project owner, a scrum master, a tech lead, and a group of 10 developers, worked closely with Odys Global, holding weekly meetings to set the scope for upcoming sprints.

A business owner of a record shop hired Opentech to develop a custom tool/plug-in that would synchronize their database with their website. The tool was designed to work with Wordpress and Discogs. Opentech was selected based on a referral. Two people from Opentech were involved in the project, which was successful in achieving the desired synchronization between the database and the website.

BoundaryCare, a SaaS platform for supporting individuals with cognitive impairments and their care teams, engaged Opentech to develop a front-end web portal and an Android watch client. Opentech was chosen for their competitive pricing, cultural fit, and value for cost. The scope of work involved designing and developing a front-end react application for BoundaryCare's services. Opentech built a new react app from scratch, implemented all key features, and continued to work on the web app as the feature list expanded. They also facilitated the development of an Android wear client for BoundaryCare's wearable-based alerting and communications product.
