Highlights from Recent Projects
Online Department worked with PowerHouse, an energy tech company in the Netherlands, to streamline their online presence. PowerHouse had several websites that conveyed different messages about their brand and product offerings. Online Department was hired to create a unified brand strategy and a new, scalable website that combined information from the old ones. The project started with creating an infographic about PowerHouse's business. After successful completion, Online Department built the new website, focusing on scalability and ease of maintenance. The project lasted from September 2017 to September 2018 and the client was satisfied with the outcome.
Retailisation, a software as a service (SaaS) company for inventory management, hired Online Department to design user-friendly interfaces for their various projects. Online Department's input from a user perspective helped limit workflow complexity and deliver a straightforward design. They also designed a native mobile app for iOS and Android devices. The project, which began in March 2017, was composed of 20% design and 80% development. The collaboration was successful, with Retailisation appreciating Online Department's commitment to the project.
Topicus, a software company delivering solutions for different industries, engaged Online Department to grow the company’s line of thinking and work ethic, increase empathy for their clients, and outsource some of their development work. Online Department provided development support for the complex web and mobile apps that Topicus builds for healthcare registration and mortgaging. They also facilitated, conceptualized and researched methods to expand skill sets and outlooks. The partnership, which began in December 2017, is ongoing and has been successful, with Topicus investing over $60,000 in the collaboration.
