OnDefend completed a network testing and segmentation project for Main Street Softworks, a company providing payment gateway and applications. The project aimed to minimize the attack vectors in the client's software and services, effectively eliminating the possibility of being compromised. OnDefend conducted a network and system penetration test, both on-site and externally. They tested the client's restricted VLAN, ensuring that services within those zones could not access other services in different zones. They also performed an external penetration test to ensure no vulnerabilities were exposed on the internet. The project, which was completed in two weeks, found no exploitable vulnerabilities. The client was satisfied with the work, having invested between $10,000-$50,000 for the project.

OnDefend undertook a network penetration test for a Fortune 500 title and escrow company. The company conducts annual ethical penetration testing and OnDefend was tasked with identifying any vulnerabilities or gaps in the client's external and internal networks that could be exploited by threat actors. The project consisted of two exercises, an external and an internal assessment, with specific targets identified for each. OnDefend conducted the tests remotely, using a combination of commercial, manual, and proprietary techniques. They also provided a sensor appliance for the internal engagement. The tests were successful and the client expressed satisfaction with the actionable report provided by OnDefend. The project was conducted from November 2016 to January 2017.
