OmbuLabs

OmbuLabs was contracted by a credit risk management firm to develop and maintain a risk management platform for banks. The project was initiated in response to changes in the guidelines for how banks calculate their loss reserves on loans. The OmbuLabs team, comprised of 4-5 specialists including two project managers, were primarily responsible for backend coding for the various modules within the platform. They also created formulas for calculating reserves, developed screenshots and demos, and provided further development and design services. The project, which started in mid-2018 and had a total cost close to $200,000, was positively received and the firm continues to maintain a professional relationship with OmbuLabs.

For Flexera, an IT solutions company, OmbuLabs undertook a project to upgrade and modernize a Ruby On Rails application that lacked active developers. The engagement began in June 2022 and concluded in September of the same year. The OmbuLabs team, which included a Senior Engineering Manager and 8-9 development specialists, enhanced the mobile app by integrating a dashboard that allowed users to launch and manage AWS, Google, and IBM cloud services. The app was transformed into a multi-cloud platform that consolidated all cloud resources into one easily manageable place. The team used a variety of technologies, including PostgreSQL, Ruby On Rails, and Docker.
