Highlights from Recent Projects
Octavian Technology Group, LLC was hired by a regional passenger transportation company to implement a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) system. The goal was to provide managers and the executive team with real-time operational and financial data to facilitate improved business decisions. Octavian consultants meticulously mapped out the company's operational and financial software systems, held discussions with the CFO and President on desired KPIs, and prepared a roadmap for the system's implementation. The project was led by two coordinators, Chris and Dave, who respectively oversaw system mapping and KPI discussions.
The company also worked with an insurance company on an artificial intelligence (AI) project. Octavian first conducted a pilot project, evaluating data sets before writing an assessment on how to proceed with full implementation. They used a Microsoft AI tool along with custom Python code. The team comprised of the founder and CEO, a data architect, an AI specialist, a principal data scientist, and a sales representative. The project began in February 2020 and is still ongoing, with a total investment of approximately $10,000.
Octavian Technology Group, LLC was also engaged by a marketing services company to assess its DevOps capabilities and identify its position on the DevOps maturity roadmap. Octavian conducted interviews with various teams within the company, compiled the findings into a report and presented it to the IT leadership team. They also conducted cloud technology assessments. The company re-engaged with Octavian to implement some of the findings from the report. The team consisted of a senior cloud architect and a senior cloud engineer. The project, which started in April 2022, is still ongoing with a total investment between $10,000 and $25,000.
