Oblique

Oblique was hired by The Empowered Mastectomy, a breast cancer advocacy organization, to create a WordPress website. The client lacked web design experience and needed a professional to help organize and upload images and information to the site. Oblique worked closely with the client, providing a draft version of the site for review and making revisions until the client was satisfied. The project was completed in September 2021, with an investment of around $2,000. The client appreciated Oblique's promptness and reasonable pricing, and continues to maintain communication for any further needs.

For the e-sports organization PlayMidwest, Oblique was commissioned to completely revamp their brand image and name. Oblique's founder, Adam, provided creative input and presented various mockups for the new look. The final design chosen was a simple badge incorporating a play button, with a vibrant fluorescent green as the primary color. The client was pleased with the final design, which was deemed simple, clean and reflective of an esports logo.

Oblique was also engaged by the startup Space Peasants, an esports company, to provide marketing and business development consultation. The client, lacking in graphic design and marketing knowledge, sought Oblique's fresh perspective. Adam worked one-on-one with the client over a few months, conducting weekly idea-building sessions and helping to develop an action plan for the business. The client found Adam's input extremely helpful and was impressed with the innovative ideas he brought to the project.
