The platform, developed using Kotlin, Ratpack, and RxJava, displayed usage and utilization data for people working in stores. Jumpilt AB, a company delivering Physical Activity Gamification systems, hired Oakfusion to develop a solution that would enhance customer retention and drive higher profitability. Oakfusion's skills and experiences, along with their Rapid Development Process, were key deciding factors. The project involved various steps including solution/problem analysis, context and requirements analysis, software architecture blueprint, mockup design and tests, production prototype development and tests, customer hardware development and test, and launch, roll-out and scaling. The technologies used included MQTT, Apache Kafka, Java, Python, embedded C, Spring, React, Elastic Logstash Kibana, STATSD, and Bluetooth. The team consisted of solution software architects, back end software developers, a hardware and IoT designer, an embedded developer, a front end developer, and DevOps. The client was impressed with Oakfusion's performance and the project's fast development, testing, and launch.
