Oakfusion was hired by Jumpilot AB, a gamification software provider, to develop a system to increase customer retention and profitability in leisure and amusement centres. Oakfusion's skill set and experience, coupled with their Rapid Development Process, allowed for quick development, testing, and launch of the system. The system was developed using Java, C, Python and JavaScript, and utilized technologies such as MQTT, Apache Kafka, and Bluetooth. The flexible team comprised of software architects, developers, hardware and IoT designers, and DevOps.
Oakfusion was engaged by an international IT group to augment their Java development team for a large-scale project. Having previously collaborated with Oakfusion, the IT group trusted their capability to provide Java development services. Oakfusion's team, which included four Java developers, one of whom served as the technical leader, was integrated into the client's larger team. The key technology used for the project was backend Java.
VirtusLab, a software consultancy and engineering company, enlisted the help of Oakfusion to meet tight deadlines on a client project. Oakfusion provided a developer who integrated with VirtusLab's team to build a dashboard for store managers in the retail industry. The platform, developed using Kotlin, Ratpack, and RxJava, displayed usage and utilization data for store employees. The engagement, which began in February 2020, is ongoing due to the satisfactory performance of Oakfusion.
